Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. DANGEROUS slabs up to three feet in depth exist in avalanche prone terrain. These slabs could be triggered by riders or skiers and could run full path. Yesterday a skier on Angle Mountain near Togwotee Pass triggered a five foot deep hard slab at an elevation of 10,280 feet as he approached a steep wind loaded easterly facing avalanche starting zone.
