The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Mostly stable snow exists during the morning hours at all elevations in and around the Salt River Range. The snowpack is warming and losing strength in general. As the day warms steep areas with a shallow snowpack could slide to the ground. Avoid rocky areas and terrain traps.
