Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New snow and high winds have deposited soft slabs up to two feet in depth at all elevations and a variety of aspects. These slabs could easily be triggered today by backcountry users, particularly on steep slopes and in cliff areas. These slabs have the potential to pull out deeper weak layers. Beware of steep gullies and terrain traps.
