Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Earlier snowfall and Southwest to West winds have formed surface slabs to two feet in depth. These slabs could be triggered on steep, wind loaded apsects and have the potential to step down to a weak layer of faceted snow at the base of the snowpack.
