Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Soft slabs have formed from recent snow and West to Northwest winds with depths up to three feet in avalanche terrain. Colder temperatures have added stability to the snow pack however these slabs lie on crusts on Southerly aspects and are intermixed with light density snow and graupel and could be triggered today be backcountry users on steep wind loaded slopes.
