Highlights

The general avalance hazard is CONSIDERABLE today at the higher elevations where soft slabs lie upon slick old snow surfaces. These slabs with depths to two feet are likely to be easily triggered on steep wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas. The general avalanche hazard is LOW in areas where the new snow is not underlain by a hard old snow surface. Be aware of terrain traps.
