Snow showers are likely in the mountains on Wednesday with some rain showers at the lower elevations. Several inches of new snow accumulation are likely at the higher elevations by evening. Temperatures will be in the 20s in the mountains and in the 30s in the valleys. Winds will be westerly at 20 with gusts to 30 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW in the Teton and the Southwest Trails/Greys River areas. A MODEATE hazard is expected in the Continental Divide/Togwotee Pass areas where some potential for deep slab avalanches may persist in isolated areas.
