Salt River and Wyoming Ranges

The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE. At the highest elevations, pockets of slab up to 18 inches deep lie upon weak, faceted snow. Backcountry travelers could trigger these slabs in steep, wind-loaded avalanche starting zones.
