Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Settlement and warm temperatures have helped to stabilize the snowpack. However, north facing areas still hold unstable pockets of snow. It remains possible to penetrate the stronger surface layers with one or several passes by riders and release large dangerous slides that will run on a rotten base of faceted snow on all aspects.
