Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard remains MODERATE. The chance continues to trigger avalanches involving a persistent weak layer of snow at the base of the snow pack. These slides are hard to predict because the snow pack feels supportive yet may fail even after several riders have crossed the slope. Very shallow soft surface slabs may also be triggered today in steep terrain.
