Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Hard slabs to 3 feet in depth exist at various elevations and aspects. These slabs lie on slippery faceted snow upon old crusts. Backcountry users, especially large loads like snowmobiles, can trigger these slabs on steep slopes and in cliff areas. Watch for sloughs on sunlit slopes that may develp into larger slides as the day warms.
