Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. DANGEROUS slabs one to four feet in depth exist on steep wind loaded aspects at all elevations. On Thursday riders triggered an avalanche which completely buried one snowmobiler and partially buried two others. A successful rescue by other members of the party occured. Similar events could be triggered by riders or skiers today.
