Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New soft slabs up to three feet in depth lie upon slick crusts and weak layers of faceted and light density snow. These slabs will be easily triggered by backcountry users today on steep wind loaded slopes. Once triggered the potential exists for these slabs to pull out deeper layers of snow that lie upon a weak layer formed in January.
