Despite the lack of widespread avalanches there has been reports of natural or skier triggered avalanches everyday this past week. Most of these avalanches were large and surprised the party involved. Conservative decision making is still required.

Down 70-150cm, the Valentines surface hoar is producing harder shears; however, several natural and skier triggered avalanches over the past few days shows that this layer is still a concern.
