Cool and clear weather continues to promote surface hoar formation and faceting at the surface. A crust exists at the surface on south-facing slopes and lower elevations. Loose, dry snow may still exist in shaded, north-facing terrain at higher elevations.
The mid and lower snowpack is well consolidated, with no significant layers of concern.
