The General Avalanche Hazard is LOW this morning and will rise to MODERATE in the afternoon. Above the rain/snow line, backcountry travelers will begin to be able to trigger pockets of shallow soft slabs and loose snow sluffs later in the day as new snow accumulates in steep, wind loaded avalanche terrain. Below the rain/snow line, wet loose sluffs will become possible along with some chance of full depth, wet slab avalanches if sustained rain saturates the snowpack in areas where it still persists.
