Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Soft slabs to 30 inches in depth lie upon a weak layer of light density snow and slick crusts. These slabs could be triggered by backcountry travelers on steep, wind loaded aspects today. The potential to trigger these slides will increase as temperatures warm. Avoid steep avalanche prone slopes and do not sit under steep slopes while others are riding them.
