Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. New DANGEROUS soft slabs up to three feet in depth have been formed by strong southwest winds. These slabs lie upon a weak snowpack comprised of hard crusts and weak faceted snow and could be easily triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche terrain today. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
