Avalanche Summary

No recent reports of avalanche activity. I would expect a new round of storm slab activity with weather forecast for Sunday

Snowpack Summary

Reports suggest there is about one metre of snow at upper treeline elevations. Terrain below treeline is reported to be mostly below threshold for avalanche activity. On the surface a developing storm slab now overlies a generally well settled snowpack. A few crusts can be found deeper in the snowpack which may have associated facets at higher elevations. Observers are not identifying any of these as cause for concern at this time, although they might be worth exploring.
