Snowpack Summary
By mid day on the 24th  up to 50 mm of precipitation may have fallen. In the alpine much of this precipitation will fall as snow and be accompanied by strong southerly winds. At treeline precipitation will initially fall as rain and switch to snow in the early morning. Below treeline most of this precipitation will likely fall as rain further melting the snowpack.
Snowpack depths at treeline vary from 200 to 250 cm.

Monday Night
Cloudy with 15 to 30 mm of mixed precipitation. 40 to 70 km/h southeast ridgetop wind. Freezing level rising to 1700 m.
Tuesday
Cloudy with 10 to 20 mm of mixed precipitation. 30 to 60 km/h southwest ridgetop wind. Freezing level around 1200 m.
Wednesday
Cloudy with 10 to 100 mm of mixed precipitation  with the greatest values on the west side of the island. 40 to 70 km/h southeast ridgetop wind. Freezing level around 1400 m.
Thursday
Mostly cloudy with 10 to 50 mm of mixed precipitation with the greatest values on the west of the island. 20 to 40 km/h west ridgetop wind. Freezing level rising to 1500 m.

- Watch for newly formed and reactive wind slabs as you transition into wind-affected terrain.
