Forecast area experiencing light to calm winds last couple of days keeping 5cm of new powder snow over previous surfaces. The Oct 25 crust is 2-4cm thick and down 60 to 80cm with facets above and below it. Hard progressive collapse failures have been observed immediately below this crust. Early season hazards lurk just below the surface.
