Expecting 10 to 15 mm of precipitation on Wednesday.Â This will fall as rain at lower elevations and may translate to over 25 cm of snow at and above treeline.Â Strong westerly winds will accompany this precipitation and temperatures will remain cool for this time of year.

Storm Slabs

Up to 25 cm of storm snow accompanied by strong SW winds will build slab conditions on the smooth sliding surface formed by previous temperature crusts on lee treeline and alpine slopes.

Minimize exposure during periods of heavy loading from new snow, wind.The new snow will require several days to settle and stabilize.
