Snowpack Summary

Surface hoar (20mm) observed at 1800m and below possibly as high as 2100m in sheltered, shady areas in the Icefields. Thin sun crust on solar aspects at treeline and above.

Previous winds had formed wind slabs on isolated terrain like contained gulley features in upper elevations at TL and above. They are proving to be fairly stubborn with little if any propagation.
Watch for whumpfing, hollow sounds, and shooting cracks.Be cautious as you transition into wind affected terrain.

Aspects: North, North East, East, South East, South.

Elevations: Alpine, Treeline.
