Variable winds in alpine areas continue to form slabs on lee aspects. We've seen 70+cm of new snow since March 12th. Steep northerly terrain in the alpine is the biggest concern.

The Mid February buried surface hoar layer continues to produce dramatic sudden planar test results. This layer will be hard to trigger but if it does expect large destructive avalanches.
