Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. West winds have formed pockets of soft surface slab up to 10 inches deep on leeward aspects. These pockets of slab lie upon good sliding surfaces and are likely to be easily triggered by people who venture onto them. In addition the potential remains for larger triggers such as snow machines to trigger dangerous deep hard slabs on very steep wind loaded avalanche paths that have buried layers of weak faceted snow. Caution is advised.
