The general avalanche hazard is Considerable. New snow and West winds have formed soft surface slabs to depths of two feet on steep leeward slopes. Backcountry skiers or riders could easily trigger these slabs or loose sluffs. In isolated areas, the possibility for large loads to trigger full depth hard slab avalanches on very steep avalanche paths may persist.

Skiers and riders will have the potential to trigger soft slabs and sluffs up to two feet in the Southwest and Teton areas and to one foot in the Togwotee area in steep avalanche terrain and on wind loaded slopes.
