Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the morning and will increase to MODERATE in the afternoon. Strong west winds will form pockets of new soft surface slab up to 12 inches deep on leeward aspects. These new slabs could be triggered by riders or skiers who venture into steep avalanche terrain with fresh deposits of wind blown snow.
