Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong west winds and dense new snow have created unstable conditions. Soft slabs up to two feet in depth lie upon slick old snow surfaces and weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered or could release naturally in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones.
