Highlights
The avalanche hazard is LOW this morning and will rise to MODERATE this afternoon. New snow lies upon hard crusts and could be human triggered today in steep avalanche starting zones in the form of loose snow sloughs and isolated pockets of shallow surface slab. If significant sunlight and warming occur today, the sensitivity of the new snow will increase along with the possibility of wet slide activity.
