Weather Forecast

Winter is coming! 10 to 30 cm of snow is forecast for tomorrow with moderate west winds. Winds are expected to shift to the northeast Sunday and become strong. Cold temperatures and developing windslabs are expected. Conditions should change rapidly and caution is urged.

Snowpack Summary

Wind deposit can be found in lee alpine areas on surface hoar and poorly bonded snow (facets, crust). Bomber crusts are common on sun affected slopes. Isolated pockets of deep facets still exist on cold north exposures. There are also large cornices around. There is a lot going on in the alpine and more coming in. Take a moment to check your slope.
