Freezing levels to 3200m by the afternoon Monday will increase the hazard rapidly, especially at lower elevations. Mod. West winds should help keep alpine temperatures slightly cooler.

Cornices

With warm temperatures and high freezing levels a few large cornices have begun to fall off. Several large cornice triggered avalanches have been noted over the last few days running a long way down into the runout. Some have triggered deep layers.

Aspects: North, North East, East, South East, South, South West.

Elevations: Alpine.

Likelihood: Possible

Expected Size: 3 - 4
