Cool temps expected throughout the week, with clear skies and no new precipitation. Winds chilly and light from the North. Slightly warmer temperatures expected for the weekend.

Recent cold temperatures are weakening the snowpack. Isolated pockets of windslab in exposed areas above treeline. Alpine is scoured in many places, leaving dirt, rock or shallow snow cover. Surface hoar formation and faceting is expected to be widespread.
