Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today.Soft slabs to 2 feet in depth have been and will be triggerd by users on wind loaded exposures. These slabs were created by strong, predominantly southwest winds at all elevations. With the increase in snow overnight larger slabs could be triggered today by snowmobilers skiers or snowboarders. Steep ravines, roadcuts and terrain traps should be avoided.
