Highlights
The general avalanche hazard remains HIGH today. Significant wind events with storm totals up to 25 inches have deposited surface slabs to three feet in avalanche terrain that will be easily triggered by backcountry riders on steep wind loaded slopes. These slabs will become more sensitive if signicant warming occurs. Once triggered these slabs may step down to deep early season faceted instabilities. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
