Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW this morning and will increase to MODERATE in the afternoon. Isolated pockets of soft surface slabs up to one foot in depth formed by southwest winds exist and could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. As temperatures warm the hazard will increase with the potential for wet loose and wet slides to be triggered on steep snow covered slopes.
