Salt River and Wyoming Ranges

The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. At upper elevations, isolated pockets of slab to a foot in depth lie on crusts on a variety of aspects and could be triggered today by backcountry users on steep wind loaded slopes. Loose snow avalanches could also be triggered and although they may start with a small amount of moving snow, can rapidly gain mass as they descend the slope. If signinficant warming and sun occur today, loose snow sluffing and sunballing are likely.
