It was warmer last night than the previous night. Temperatures will rise into the 30's and 40's and there will be periods of sunshine. The wet snow avalanche hazard will increase as the day progresses. Monitor conditions for increasing wet snow hazards and avoid steep slopes if the snow softens and becomes unstable. At the highest elevations it may still be possible to find an isolated pocket of wind slab up to a foot deep. Small slides can be dangerous in cliff areas, steep chutes, and other extreme terrain features.

Accumulations of a trace to two inches are anticipated. A break in the showers and cloud cover is expected in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will in the 20’s tonight and in the 30’s and 40’s on Friday. Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 miles per hour.The snowpack is mostly stable. Avalanches are unlikely.
