The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE. Three to four inches of new snow came in warm then cooled and should bond well to the old surface. The possibility of wet-loose slides has dropped above 8500 feet but continues below where the warm snowpack, soaked by rain, has lost much of its strength. Natural or easily triggered wet-loose slides are possible on steep slopes. The heavy slides set up instantly and even small releases can be dangerous. Stay out of ravines and away from roadcuts and other steep slopes.
