Highlights

The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Six inches of new snow with westerly winds have created soft slabs to two feet in depth near ridges on lee slopes. The new snow will make it easier to trigger underlying slabs to three feet in depth that rest on a weak layer of old surface hoar that still lurk in unpredictable areas.
