At the higher elevations small pockets of wind slab less than a foot in depth could be triggered by skiers or riders on isolated terrain features. Today's sunshine and warming temperatures will increase the wet snow avalanche hazard during the warmest portion of the day. Shallow wet slides are possible on very steep sunlit slopes. Small slides can be dangerous in cliff areas, steep chutes, above terrain traps and in other types of extreme terrain.
