Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Areas of unstable snow exist where surface slabs from strong winds varying from the West to the Northeast and recent snow have formed and could be triggered by backcountry users today. These slabs will be particularly sensitive to larger triggers such as snow machines and not necessarily by the first rider on the slope. These slabs could pull out deeper layers of hard slab from the recent storm cycle to four feet in depth.
