Highlights
The general avalanche hazard remains CONSIDERABLE today. Dangerous hard slabs up to four feet in depth exist in steep wind loaded mid and upper elevation avalanche starting zones. These slabs could be triggered by snowmobilers or skiers who venture onto them and could step down to deeper buried layers of faceted snow paritcularly on slopes that contain a Northerly element. Wet slides are possible today at lower elevations where temperatures again have remained above freezing overnight.
