Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong winds and a few inches of snow will build more slabs on lee slopes at higher elevations. These slabs lie on slick crusts and could be triggered today by backcountry users. Once triggered the potential exists to pull out deeper weak layers of rotten, faceted snow. At lower elevations the avalanche hazard is LOW, however isolated pockets of shallow slabs could be released in steep areas like ravines.
