Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Soft slabs to 12 inches in depth could be triggered by backcountry travelers in steep avalanche terrain. Some potential remains for deeper hard slabs to be triggered on extremely steep slopes and in cliff areas. The chance of wet-loose surface slides will increase on steep, sunlit slopes if sustained sunshine melts existing strong sun crusts.
