Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. However, yesterdays new snow and wind has formed isolated pockets of new soft surface slab up to 18 inches in depth in steep wind loaded starting zones. These pockets and loose snow sluffs could be easily triggered or could sluff out on thier own if the sun shines. This is the last advisory of the 2001/2002 season. The staff at the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center would like to thank you and our sponsors for your support and observations. Have a great Summer!
