Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is Considerable today. Very strong southwest winds have formed soft slabs two to three feet in depth. These slabs will be easy to trigger on steep avalanche starting zones and near cliff areas. As sunlight and warming affect the snow surface today the sensitivity of these slabs and the potential for wet slide activity will increase.
