The snowpack is mostly stable and the general avalanche hazard is low this morning. Dry snow avalanches are unlikely except for isolated pockets of shallow wind slab in very steep terrain at the highest elevations. In the afternoon, clear skies and warm temperatures could destabilize the snow surfaces and increase the wet snow hazard to moderate. During the warmest periods of the day, wet snow avalanches may be possible at all elevations, especially on steep, solar aspects. These wet slides, for the most part, are expected to be small, although in areas where weak faceted snow is buried deep in the snowpack large wet slides may be possible. At the lower elevations, as the snowpack becomes warm and isothermal steep slopes should be avoided, and roof slides are also possible.

Temperatures will continue to warm with the mountains climbing into the upper twenties to thirties and valleys into the forties.
