Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Pockets of unstable snow exist on steep, wind loaded aspects at mid and upper elevations. These areas could hold slabs to 18 inches deep that rest on slick crusts. Be aware of sloughs developing into larger slides on sunlit slopes as the day warms. Avalanches at low elevations are unlikely.
