Quick report

Went for any easy tour to check out the conditions. Lots of poking around with our poles and a couple hand pits. Consistently found evidence of wind affected snow starting around 3200’. The surface layer was 2-3” stiff wind or 14Feb drizzle affected snow, with some sugary facets and another crust below. Made for some interesting and unpredictable turns with the breakable crust. Best skiing was below 3200ft in my opinion. Saw evidence of wind transport from days prior (to include cornices overhanging some of the northerly aspects on Hatch peak. Did not observe propagation, cracking or wumphing.
