Quick report

Toured into the basin today, still 3-5ft of snow on the road after the turn about a mile from the trailhead. LOTS of avalanche activity starting around noon, natural point release wet loose slides coming down from the East facing aspect of the ridge in steeper zones. Also triggered one slide during a ski cut when first coming down from the ridge. All slides appeared to be the fresh layer from the recent cycle. Assuming the snow did not refreeze last night.
